City Buffet - my local Chinese Buffet

I remember the last time I came here was about a little after high school graduation.

We wanted to celebrate, so me and two others just decided "heck it, we haven't been here in forever and we want to be a bit dumb so why not eat at our local buffet, the one that doesn't have a lot of good reviews (but to be fair I think people just give buffets bad raps like its in the nature of these kinds of establishments)."

It was a good time together, but a pretty mid service experience.

One of my friend's drinks was placed right on the edge of the table, empty. Just begging to be refilled.

A waiter passed. Another one went by.

After many minutes and a few plates, concluded to ourselves in unanimous decision: racism was afoot. Especially towards our Mexican-Italian friend who was not Italian at all.

Jokes aside, I do have a fondness of this place. Well, I did. It closed, turned into a recreational center, and is now demolished.
